Melissa Midwest Starts 'Win a Date' Contest

LINCOLN, Neb. — Internet performer Melissa Midwest has announced the "Win a Date with Melissa Midwest" contest for members of her website.

"I have members who say it would be nice to meet me, but they're spread all across the country — all across the world." Midwest told XBIZ. "I joked about this for a long time, and now I've decided to go though with it."

The winner gets an all-expense paid trip to meet Midwest in her hometown of Lincoln, Nebraska. He will be picked up in a limousine, put up in a hotel, taken to dinner and get a private dance from Midwest. After dinner, the winner will go clubbing with Midwest. The winner also will receive a collection of Melissa Midwest merchandise.

Contestants have to send an email to a dedicated email address saying why they should win. Midwest will choose the winner based on what is said in the email. Contestants must be 19 years of age or older, a current member of the site, be willing to sign model releases, agree to be videotaped and photographed and have the images put on the website.

The final judging will take place May 15.
